At Le Petit Vélo Cafe, we love bringing people together. From book clubs and craft nights to wine tastings and supper clubs, our cosy Belgian-inspired café is the perfect place to connect, relax, and discover something new.

Regular Events

Whether you’re looking to unwind, learn, or simply enjoy something different, there’s always something happening here:

  • Book Club – Join us on the first Thursday of every month at 6.30pm. A relaxed evening where we chat about our latest read over a drink and a little something sweet.

  • Craft Nights – Explore your creative side in our monthly craft sessions. Each month features a different project led by our expert crafter, Wendy, with all materials included — and, of course, a drink of your choice.

  • Writing Circle - A monthly get together on the second Thursday of the month. Structured exercises and opportunities to share. Whether you are new to writing or a published author, we welcome you.

  • Games Night - Bring a board game or join someone elses. The third Thursday of the month. Family friendly, so you can bring your children along too for a night out away from electronics in a calm, homely space. They can enjoy a hot chocolate and you could have a glass of wine.

  • Wine Tastings & Special Evenings – Sample handpicked wines and enjoy themed events that bring a little taste of Belgium to Peacehaven.

  • Seasonal Celebrations – From Belgian National Day to Christmas specials, we love finding reasons to celebrate together.

Looking for a unique, intimate venue for your next gathering?

Le Petit Vélo is available for private hire — perfect for birthdays, book launches, team socials, creative workshops, or one-off sessions.

  • Seating for up to 16 guests in a private room indoors

  • Full venue hosting for up to 50 people

  • Flexible catering options including Belgian-inspired sharing platters, waffles, croques, and alcoholic beverages

  • A cosy, European bistro atmosphere with a personal touch
